Carlos Calderon was victorious in his second Mixed Martial Arts competition at Qwest Arena on December 12, 2008 in Boise, Idaho. He was able to stay composed as he met a flurry of punches from a very game Johnny Ramos! Carlos stayed in the pocket and delivered several precise punches and kicks. Once on the ground, Carlos used excellent side control and transitioned to Johnny'is back. Once there he was able to strike until the choke opened up. He took IT... AND the win. Carlos trains very hard and deserves every bit of this sweet victory....

Carlos will be be competing at Qwest Arena again on Jan 29th, 2009.   

Jon Pappas was able to defend his (205) Title. Both he and Ben Ferrin were completely exhausted but Jon saw his way through with tenacious will power and was able to finish the fight with very little time left on the clock.
